Project Summary
NextGen Athletes is a mobile app designed to spotlight emerging sports talent and connect fans with the future of the game. The platform allows users to discover, follow, and engage with up and coming athletes through profiles, stats, and highlight clips. It aims to bridge the gap between potential and visibility, giving young players a stage to grow their audience while inspiring fans to support their journeys early.
Why it exists
Fans often only discover athletes after they “make it,” missing the excitement of watching them rise.Young players struggle to gain exposure beyond local clubs and social feeds.Sports media focuses heavily on stars, leaving little space to showcase new talent.NextGen Athletes was created to change that — centralising discovery, storytelling, and fan connection in one place.

This flow shows how Ethan quickly searches for a rising player and follows them. The design keeps discovery simple and familiar, letting him move from search results to a full profile with no friction. After finding a player he likes, he can follow them instantly.

This flow shows how Sam filters through clips to evaluate players more efficiently. The design keeps everything organised so he can narrow results by position, match type, or skill without getting overwhelmed.

This flow shows how Aaron sends off a clip to a teammate for quick feedback. The design keeps sharing effortless, letting him move from watching to sending in just a couple taps.
